Frankly speaking, I’m not a usual consumer of Korean cosmetics products. However, when my eyes landed on The History of Whoo, I almost dropped my jaws for how pretty their packaging is. I would totally purchase them just for the display on my dressing table, or if I could, I would totally frame this set of lip sticks into a large 3D frame and use them as decoration for my dressing room. How could you not fall in with them?
The History of Whoo is all about using the Gold and Amber to represent the pomp of royal court and the supreme virtue of the old Korean Empire. Amber, regarded as the best jewelry for accessories, has been thought to have a protecting power and considered as one of the seven treasures in the ancient times. The inspirations of the History of Whoo comes from the tributes to the empress, for which the design carries the the glory of the ancient empire.
I fell in love with the products even further when I personally tried them on. For those who know me know well, you know that my lips are often quite dry, so I don’t use lipsticks very often. Unless it’s for special occasions. Nevertheless, I tried on History of Whoo just before a shoot, and I fell in love again by the surprises of how juicy and non-greasing they are. It kept my lips shinny and moisturized for a long time. Those glamours lipsticks even come with brushes to make it easier to apply.
