Where to stay in Boracay? About a dozen 5-star hotels in Boracay, but most of them are self-rated. There are actually only 2 luxury premium hotels to choose from – Shangri la and Asya Premium Suites, if you want something heavenly and dreamy.
We stayed with Asya Premier Suites, which is located just at the end of Station 3 at the south side of the island. It is only about 7-8 mins walk to station 2, where all the bars, restaurants and parties are, and it has its own private white sand beach just in front of the hotel. Shangri la is located at the northern-est tip of the island and given the tiny little island only have one main road, it takes more at least half an hour to one hour to travel from Shangri-la to Station 2. And when it’s late at night, it is hard to find a tri-cycle taxi around. Hence, if you to enjoy the good party vibes at night, I would suggest you not to stay at Shangri-la. It would be the top choice, if you just want to relax on the island and stay at somewhere quiet.
Thanks to the great service from Asya. I enjoyed my breakfast from my villa every morning. It felt great to be able to roll straight out of my king size bed and walk straight outdoor where a tableful of fresh tropical fruits, warm breads, and a feast of many other more awaits for me.
Right below the private villas, there lies the private white sand beach. Many of the hotel guests have their romantic beach weddings there. According to the hotel staff, they have at least 10 wedding there on the beach every month.
A huge round infinite pool lies in the center of the report with amazing pool side bar overlooks the beach on the cliffy side, which makes it perfect for the sunsets.
Sunset @ Asya
Life couldn’t get any better from Sitting on the cliff side, sipping on my tropical cocktails during the happy hour, while watching the red big fireball sinks beneath the horizontal. During my last day of stay, I had sunset yoga right on my balcony, which faces right into the sunset. It was definitely one of the most relaxing and highlight moment of my life.
