Do you ever obsessed with the refreshing scent from the precious teas when the hot water lands on the tea leaves and that scent just stays around you even in your head for hours and hours? Imagine if you can have that for your perfumes! Jo Malone London recently has launched a new collection line infusing rare tea leaves into refined fragrances and have each one of those encased into the pure incandescence of its bottle.
Launched March this year, the rare tea infused fragrances were born with 8 uniquely scent with the infusions from preciously rare green tea and black tea from Chinese foothills to the high alps of Himalayas.
Silver Needle Tea
The softest silver needle tea leaves were hand-picked before infusion and provides a delicately floral, supple and velvety nuances scent, which then was enriched with opulent rose, tendered with sage, enveloped with musk. It’s like a bottle filled with the scent of the spring is waiting to be released and to be treasured.
Darijeeling tea is one of the most precious ones that are found high in the foothills of the Himalayas. It is enriched with a floral and an very exotic sweetness scent. It something you can’t forget once you have been kissed by the uniqueness of its scent. The vibrant spring buds of Darjeeling Tea grown on the steepest slopes among mountain mist, which makes this a heady and sublime rare tea infusion extremely remarkable and unforgettable.
Jade Leaf Tea
Jade leaves – everybody loves the jade leave given the smoothness and refreshness from those Japanese sencha. If you like jasmine infused fragrances, this one will take it to the next level, believe or not!
The above 3 fragrances were infused by green tea leaves, and remaining 3 are designed to infuse with rare black tea leave. Unlike the green tea leaves that give a very refreshed and smooth vibe of the scent, the black tea infused fragrances are often more woody and oaky, and often stays on your skin for a longer period of time.
Oolong tea leaves have a slightly stronger woody scent compare to the other black tea, and because of this, it creates an extra layer of elegance with a twist of buttery softness. After infusing with the Oolong tea leaves, it is then enriched with bitter cocoa and almondy tonka beans to provide a more creamy scent.
Midnight Black Tea
This bottle is my absolute favourite after going through all eight different fragrances. Just like how it is described by its name, midnight black tea is deeply seductive and intrinsically exotic. A small dose of the midnight black tea infused fragrances would totally relax your mind and let your imagination to run wild. Have a spray or two in your bedroom … and let the midnight sensation run wild under the moon light!
Golden Needle Tea
It is actually very different from the silver needle tea. The golden ones are quite rough from the outside, enriched with different layers of woody and spiced scent and often reminds me of those warm wooden interior of the Chinese tea houses. The dominated scent of the sandalwood provides an extra touch of elegance and mysteriousness.
Which one of the fix is your favourite?
