If everyone visit London for the first time, Notting Hill inevitably is the Must-Visit stop among all the other Top 10 must visit places. Notting Hill is not just famous for the Portobello Street, but also for the tranquility of the neighborhood and the real west side vibe it brings to all the visitors, and not to mention the mysterious romance in the air, not just from the movie Notting Hill, but the overall ambiance of the neighborhood.
I stayed just on the edge of Notting Hill, during my short visit in London, with La Suite West Hotel. It is located just 2 minutes walk from Kingston Garden and Queensway Metro Station, and only 10 minutes walk to Portobello market in Notting Hill. If you ever fancy what’s it like to live in one of those cute houses on the streets in Notting Hill, then you should definitely spend a night or two with La Suite West Boutique Hotel and enjoy the neighborhood. This neighborhood is surround by boutique shopping stores, lovely cafes and it’s quiet away from the chaotic London traffic.
Le Suite West is decorated with minimalistic style with a touch of Zen. Walking into the bedroom, I’m a big fan of the monochrome theme when it comes to bedroom deco. The rooms are very simply decorated but yet thoughtfully designed. The TV can even be elevated from the desk at the end of the bed which can be rotated to face either the bed or the couch on the other side. The huge mirror in the bathroom are heated so it won’t steam up during the showers. Not to mention the peaceful and tranquil views from my room onto the street. It’s so cozy and makes me feel like ‘home’.
